100 Ft Beyond is a progression from literal to phenomenal transparency, the physical translucence inherent in a material to the phenomenal transparency as a simultaneous perception of different spatial locations. Situating in the same site, further and more extensive spaces and their stories are explored and documented, they are re-composed into a gridding system base on their spatial relationship and re-mapped according to Sergi Eisenstein’s matric montage theory.

By establishing a system of transparent spatial reading, the aim is to engage the audience to interpret and understand successive layered spaces as modes of transparent phenomena.
