The Net Zero Tiny House is a small-scale sustainable structure designed and built by students for Temple Community Garden on main campus. Designed as a hands-on academic initiative, the project promotes environmental stewardship while serving as both an educational and community programming space.
The structure integrates net-zero strategies including a high-performance thermal envelope, solar PV panels, rainwater harvesting, vegetated roof, thermal energy systems, and a composting plumbing system—offering a real-world model of sustainable design and interdisciplinary collaboration.
