Located on the scenic Cape Cod peninsula, the site features a unique network of subterranean concrete structures, locally known as the “Underground Mall.”

The project aims to transform this underutilized area into a vibrant mixed-use complex, helping to address the region’s critical shortage of workforce housing. Expanses of asphalt will be removed to create common green spaces planted with native species, surrounded by a community of small-scale multifamily buildings. The existing underground terra-dome structure will be repurposed to accommodate commercial storefronts, office spaces, and communal recreation areas, while its rooftop will be reimagined to host additional housing and gardens. On-site PV arrays will provide renewable energy, while the native landscape design supports bioretention and natural filtration.

I led the development of building clusters A, B, C, D, and F, all of which are currently under construction.
